From the Trustees at Pathways Through Dementia: during these unprecedented times we are aware that many of our clients will be directly impacted by corona virus and the helpline remains open to all enquirers at this difficult time. In the past the CEO has worked voluntarily for the charity and has offered to continue supporting enquirers in a voluntary capacity should it become necessary. This arrangement will be reviewed monthly and we hope that when lockdown ends the grant giving Trusts we rely on for funding will start meeting again to assess grant applications (our round of fundraising always begins in April so we would have been expecting financial support to start coming in again from May onwards)
The charity has enough reserves to cover our insurance, helpline rental and website costs for the next 6 months as long as the CEO is not taking a salary. We also have some restricted funding which we are not planning on using at the moment. We will post updates on the website if this information changes before June.
We will also have to postpone our AGM indefinitely this year under advice however Trustee meetings will continue to take place through conference calls.
